BAO started off as a market stall in April 2013.
A couple months in, the six seater BAO BAR was built in a car park in Hackney.
BAO opened its first permanent restaurant in Soho in 2015 and BAO in Fitzrovia in 2016. We specialise in steamed buns which we handmake daily and a selection of Xiao Chi – Taiwanese inspired dishes.
